I have installed Roxio Creater 8 and now WMP and MyDVD rerrots the length of a MPEG1 file as 56 seconds instead of the 27 min actual lentgh. That is what it plays also. It was correct in WMP before I installed Roxio and is correct if I uninstall Roxio. I believe it
has something to do with the roxio Codec for MPEG1.

Hi Guys...I have a similar problem. Installing EMC8 seems to corrupt the timings on any mpg's I have downloaded. A 12 minute file shows in WMP as 5:31 and the first 5:31 is what gets recorded onto DVD, while in WMP moving the timing slider around shows that somehow all the 12 minutes are on there.-For example, running the piece from the start in WMP to the 1:00 point brings the file to one point, running the timing bar along nearly to the end and bgack to thje 1:00 mark shows a much later part of the file.
Uninstalling EMC8 returns the timings to the correct length in WMP. I am completely baffled...help!

I have the same problem. If I uninstall MyDVD, all is well. Install it again and the clip length is very short, video stops and audio continues. Slider moves very fast.
