I am attempting to copy and convert a video from youtube.  When I click on "web video" the "launch your browser to start viewing and downloading web video" scree comes up.  I launch the browser and pulled up youtube video and it is not capturing.  I lauched the youtube video first then opened Roxio and Video Copy & Capture and vice versa and it's still not capturing the videos.  I've done this in the past but never experienced this.

What browser are you using?

I've had video that worked with IE 8 and didn't work with FF.

I've had video that worked with FF and didn't work with IE.

I've had video that wouldn't complete the download both in IE8 and FF.

What has worked 100% and is free is the Fire Fox Extension Download Helper.. ;)

Original song "Friday Nights" written by Corey Parker   It's a video of my son-in-law and is not protected. The converter is now picking up something I viewed several days ago.

I am having the same problem.  I have tried several videos using IE 9.  Note that this has worked fine in the past.   I had downloaded just a month ago but now no dice.

I've had no luck with any video captureing off the web.

I just posted these two links and clicked on them on this page, and the 1st video came up in Roxio.
The video won't load directly when on YouTube.   What the heck ??

I can't grab either one in IE8 or FF using Roxio VCC.

What I can do 100% of the time In FF with the download helper.
