The Studios keep changing the encryption that fast that no-one could keep up (in a vain effort to stop people ripping them)

I was more getting at the financial cost of constand software upgrades - the rate they keep changing the encryption the guys in development would have no time for anything else

Corel bought Roxio a couple of weeks ago. They have a pretty inexpensive product WinDVD Pro 11 --here (link).
I have not tried it. I use a different competitive product (bought it before Corel bought Roxio).

You didn't tell us you needed a BR burner/player.
We thougth you had the burner already.

All Blu-ray drives come with some OEM software to play your BD DVD. Cyberlink Power DVD will tell you in time it needs to update to play the BD DVD.
