Line Not Appearing On Audio Input

Hello, My friend recently also brought a roxio game cap, and now he is having issues, device management shows both game cap devices, recording devices shows line in, and has the volume going up at the same time as the xbox, but he cannot select it on Audio Input, he can only select Stereo Mix (Which gives Unknown Capture Error), and his internal and external mics

The only thing I can think of is to make sure that in the Recording Devices the Line-Roxio GameCap is enabled and is chosen as the default.
Mine gives me the choice of Line(RoxioGameCap) in the software besides Stereo Mix.

If the Roxio Game Capture doesn't show in these three places along with line in or stereo mix your installation didn't install correctly.

You do show these two entries in device manager like the pic below?
