I have Roxio 2011 Creator.  The best resolution output I can find, even in dv format/avi, is like 780.  My output looks blurry.  I have a one year old Sony Camcorder. Resolution from that is clear when I view it in the editor or in windows, but, not after stringing it together with other vids, annotations, adding music..so forth...and outputing.  Isn't there a lossless output?

My guess is that you did not select  16 by 9 when you started your production in Video Wave.  That is the only way you can get high definition video.  The default is 4 by 3 which is the720 by 480 (or the European Equivalent)   that you are seeing.

Is your camcorder a high defintion camcorder?   Are you going to make a standard definition DVD or an AVCHD or Blu-ray DVD?  or just watch the file on your computer?
