I have "Roxio video HD with 3D" and i was curious about something. I've seen people use this program to do video branding before and i wanted to know if anyone knows how to do that? what i mean by video branding is for example: when u watch the news in the upper right corner they add the "LIVE" icon to the video. or when watching TV they add the Channels name in the lower right or left corner. Something similar to the image below. I just want use my Logo with out any boarders around it.
If anyone knows how can you please let me know how to achieve this. thank you.

Like Walt says, not sure of that version, if it has any image-editing capabilities. If it does not, you might have something else on your PC that does image editing. It's just a matter of saving your logo with a transparent background and then adding it as an overlay in VideoWave part of your Roxio program and then adjusting it down to the corner where you want it. The image editor in the Roxio line is called PhotoSuite but generally comes with the full suite, maybe not your version.

karri gave you the definitive answer (above).  Have you tried it?

Video Lab is a cut down version of Creator and it has only video editing capabilities.  The video editor is aka Video Wave/MyDVD   It is much easier if you switch to timeline and add the image to one of the video tracks.

I have been doing that. i made my image as a GIF and it imports transparent but once i hit play the background of the image is automatically filled with white. and no matter how many times i try i just can get it to work.

What program are you using to edit your logo graphic?

I don't have Roxio Video Lab, so not sure if that is the trouble or if something else is. If transparent doesn't work you can try adding a bright green to everything you want to be transparent and then using chroma key to get rid of the green ...that is, if the Video Lab video editor has the Chroma key utility included.

Of course try your Logo as a JPG just in case there is something in the translation that is a problem...
