I am running OS Win7 on my laptop. I am trying to capture movies on my dvr to my laptop so I can burn them to dvd via the Roxio usb video capture stick.
The problem is the video when played on the preview screen and in the final captured file is jumpy and sometimes out of sync with the sound. The sound is fine. The video/audio from the source into the usb video/audio capture stick is fine. I can't fig out why this is happing. does anyone have an answer?

What software program do you have? You posted in the Easy CD & DVD Burning forum but state you are using Vhs to DVD? So which is it?
