I have downloaded the software and the hardware. I am using plug and play. I choose no menu, pick the drive, choose the disc type, I do not get the next button to choose. Whats the deal.

Perhaps you need to start this over and provide a few more details
One guess based on your last sentence, do you have a Blank disc in the drive?
Along those lines, NONE of use that method, prefering Record - Edit - Save hands down!
