Hello All,
Windows XP sp2 on a pos Dell GX260
During the installation of Roxio EMC 7.0 I chose to "run only in this profile".
Several weeks later I was creating extra Windows XP profiles for the family, and not
thinking clearly, deleted the original profile that Roxio was installed on.
I cannot find an unistall untility and Roxio is not recognized in Window's Add/Remove Programs.,
So,
1> Is there a way to get Roxia to run in one of the new profiles?
if not
2> How can I unistall Roxio?
I'd hate to reinstall over the existing installation.
Thanks!!
Any help is greatly appretiated!!

To answer your first question, there is nothing you can do about it. Roxio won't work on another profile like that : /
So now onto your second question- try this following procedure.
Run the windows installer cleanup utility and remove anything that is affiliated with Roxio
http://support.micro....com/kb/290301/
Then delete the folders (assuming no other Roxio software is installed)
C:\Program Files\Roxio
C:\Program Files\ Common Files\ Roxio Shared
C:\ Documents and Settings\Application Data\Roxio
Go to start -> run -> type in "regedit" without the ""
Back up the following registry
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Roxio
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Roxio
And then delete them after you have created a backup
Restart your computer and it should be all gone = ]
