I bought Creator 2012 to convert some MPEG-2 TS files that I had imported from a video camera to a   dvd hard drive.  I want to convert them to play on an ipad.

Every time I try to do the conversion it gets to 13% and just stops running.  The laptop I am using is brand new Dell business machine with about 60GB hd space and about 3G memory spare.

I tried a small avi file and that worked ok.

the install instructions are just insert and run so, I don't know if I should have installed some codex,  this is my first time of doing anything with video files hence buying something that says its very simple to use.

Any suggestions about where to start would be gratefully received
