Is it possible to turn off Gracenotes in Easy Audio Capture? When I finish recording something, the file that I've created suddenly gets "exported" and given a new name, usually some stange book title. I prefer that Gracenotes not "esport" my file and give it a new, "strange", identity. So.... I would like to disable this function.

Hi Dennis, try this.
From the Home screen go to Tools > Options.
In the Options box go to General > Internet
Uncheck the box 'Enable audio disc information download' and click OK
See if that turns off Gracenote for you.

Brendon-
Thanks for the suggestion/help. I'm using RecordNow Premier version 1.2.206 and there is no General > Internet under the options. In fact, there are no options under tools. Instead there are preferences but no internet options. Any thoughts?

Dennis,
It looks to me as if your version is a sliced-and-diced cut-down version of Creator 2010, and I had an awful time trying to find the Gracenote toggle in that suite.
Tell me please, does your RecordNow Premier have anything under the Audio section that looks like this? Rip-Advanced ?
So far, the only way I've found in Creator 2010 to toggle Gracenote on or off has been through that menu item on the Home / Audio menu.
The settings button in the multi-ripper shows these check-boxes for CDDB [Gracenote] and MusicID. You uncheck them and click OK and the settings here seem to have effect on everything in the suite. Not quite optimum placement for a switch, is it!
Anyway, if you have a multi-ripper item in what's left of your suitelet, look for and try this to turn off Gracenote. In the meantime, I'll try to find where the setting of this switch is recorded on the computer. If they have taken the multi-ripper and its hidden switch off you, we might still be able to turn it off with an edit somewhere.
Regards,
Brendon

Brandon,
Thanks again for helping me to pursue this. There is no rip-advanced on the home screen. But I have gone back in my emails and found that I did purchase RecordNow Music Lab 10 Premier - ESD which is compatible with Windows 7 which is what I have on my new computer. (Old computer died with my copy of RecordNow Music Lab 10 Premier - ESD) I also ordered the back-up disc, but when I looked for it I discovered that when they sent me the back-up for RecordNow Music Lab 10 Premier - ESD, they sent me another copy of the disc for RecordNow Music Lab 10 which I had previously. I think that they sent me the wrong disc. There is no reason I would have gotten two back-up copies of the old program. Anyway, I sent an email to the company that distributes the software and pointed out the problem. I am hoping that they will allow me to redownload and/or send me the correct back-up disc for RecordNow Music Lab 10 Premier - ESD. In the meantime, I will continue to see if I can get the present program to work and eliminate the Gracenotes. I will keep you posted.
