Hi,
I have installed EMC7 on my computer (enough free space, correct RAM) but I have encountered problem I'm not able to solve (I'm not very particularly experienced in computers).
Here's a problem:
I have opened Media Manager than selected files to send to StoryBoard with a hope to convert into a slide show. Story Board window was loading for a moment then gone, nothing....
I have tried to open Story Board separately but only empy frame appeared with disabled most options. Efforts to send then files from the Media Manager failed- reply StoryBoard is busy..
Anybody can help me please? Is this problem of a conflict, blocking popups? What else could be a reason and what solution could be to solve the problem?

List your system specs. It could be a video card problem.

Thanks for advice. Do you mean that there can be some conflict, or is a question of some settings. Maybe my questions are stupid but Im an absolute greenhorn in technical affairs.

What I have in my signature is my system specs. It would be helpful, if you posted yours, in a similar fashion.

Without knowing the specs, it's impossible to give a good answer.

This might be a silly question but if you have some files (video, jpeg photos, audio files etc.) and want to make a slide show of them, why don't you just open the Videowave program and browse to a folder where you have saved or where these files are located and drag them into a slide in Storyboard view or other tracks in the Timeline view ??? Or did I not read your post correctly for what your problem is ??
If on the other hand, if you can't even get a Storyboard view when you open Videowave, then that's an entirely different problem. Most users when they want to make a slide show open Videowave and add everything they want to add (photos, music, narrations, video etc.) and then save it as a named "DMSM" file. Then afterwards, if they want to make a DVD of that production, they open DVDBuilder, and enter the Videowave production and the proceed to burn their DVD. (Assuming they have completed all of the options that are available in DVDBuilder.

Which version of EMC 7 are you using? I think StoryBoard is in 7.1. It's a version of VideoWave, but lots of people have had trouble with it.
The best way to make the slideshow would be to open VideoWave from the main screen as Frank suggested. Then switch to the Collections View (the little blue icon) and drag and drop your pictures onto the storyline.
