I started with roxio easy VHS to DVD all kinds of trouble, about 1 out of 10 it would burn back to the DVD as it should, but more then not it took as long as it did to record in, in the first place. A 1/12 hour viedo after editing took over the same time to write back. I up graded to Easy Vhs to Dvd 3 and have the same trouble, maybe worst. I have been working on this for over a year with no resolve. I uninstall, reinstall and every once in awile it will work as it should, and without changing a thing it stops working properly. I'm about to chuck this and try another product, any recommendation.

I don't understand what problem you are having.
If the program works for a while and then doesn't that indicates a problem with your system and not with the program.
How about listing your system specs.
1.5 hours to encode and burn a 1.5 hour video is very good. After all the 1.5 hours of video has to be highly compressed to fit on a DVD that will only hold 60 minutes of HQ video.
