I was obliged to reformat my hard drive and reinstall all my software. When I attempted to reinstall my Roxio EMC10, I am getting message stating that the CD Key is not valid even though I am typing the same directly from the cd sleeve. I would appreciate any assistance in getting this software reinstalled.

I honestly cannot say, but am confident it is just the second time as I had been running the software from a drive I moved from another computer and configured as a slave after the registry on the same became corrupted.

Have you checked the key letters/numbers and tried alternates? The most common errors are substituting a capital O for a zero, or a capital I for a one.
If substituting zero and 1 for O and I don't work, please send me a private message with the key as you see it. I will try it out on my EMC 10 disc and should be able to tell you if there is something wrong with your system or your character recognition.
To send a private message, just mouse over my name at the top of this message, then click 'Send message' in the box which pops up, and follow your nose from there.
