How do I using videowave create and save seperate video clips from the same video content.
If not videowave what should I use.

VW is what you would use but this may not be necessary... 
VW is pretty powerful and the only time you really need to Export a Clip is to add more effects to it or in some cases if you plan to use it elsewhere.
Otherwise Scenes is a good way to handle this: Here
