Hi, I've been trying to do live commentary using the tutoral on here, but for some reason whenever I select Stereo Mix for my Audio Input, I get unknown Capture Error and am unable to record.


I am using a Acer Aspire 5733z with Windows 7 Home Premium SP1. 4GB RAM

Was everything working fine till you started trying to get the "live commentary" to work?.

So, what have you changed, that has screwed things up. We have no way of knowing what you've done.

I followed this tutorial

but once I try to get Stereo Mix as Audio Input, I get the window saying Unknown Capture Error


I can change it back to Line or Microphone and it works, but I cant use Stereo Mix.

Have a look at post #8 in the tutorial link, that maybe the problem, try it.
