Ive only succeeded in burning one short movie with Data tab set to DVD-ROM (UDF).

It wont work with two movies.

I tried the 2 movies with DVD Video with Video tab, and says, files are unsupported.

I tried then DVD Video from Video TS, and it burned ok, but read error in home player.

Anyone have a handle on this dilemma? thanks.

From your description you are trying to burn a VIDEO_TS folder to DVD. You only can put one VIDEO_TS folder on a DVD. If you want to combine movies from two different VIDEO_TS folders then you have to first extract the MPEG videos you want from each of the VIDEO_TS folders and have Toast author a new VIDEO_TS that contains both movies.

Are you using Toast 7? It seems that you've posted similar questions in the Toast 6 forum. Have you updated to the most recent version of Toast 7 or 6 that you're using?

It's easiest to use the DVD video from VIDEO_TS setting in the Video window when burning an existing VIDEO_TS folder.

As for extracting MPEGs from VIDEO_TS folders, the process depends on the version of Toast that you have.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

thanks T. finally getting somewhere on this.

I just burned a DVD on my home recorder from a miniDV camcorder. I dragged that to the HD, and it says, audioTS and video TS, and in video TS, is video_tss.bup, and video_ts.ifo, .vob, etc etc -- there is no mpeg in there I don't think.

No, I'm on 6, but got so frustrated with lack of response on this crazy issue, posted here, sorry -- maybe you were away.

Anyway, where do I proceed? I need to make mpegs from those files?
