I have myDVD 8. WinXP. I can burn .iso or .mpeg files to DVD. When attempting to burn .dmsm (edited) images I get error 80040207 can't encode video. Applied hotfix for 8004000 and still not able to burn files. Any help?

Try outputting your dmsm project to DV AVi from videowave. That might tell you if there is a problem with the movies and where the problem is.

Have you right, the same code error but the same computer and less same problem.

Here I left my System Information. I will try the nVidia update to my GPU.

If it don't work to me, I'll visit again the forum with my updated history to found a solution.

See you later, thank's.

Lezama,
Start a new thread by going to new topic at the top of the board. Copy your old posts there. The original poster has MyDVD 8 and you have EMC 8. Same symptom but not necessarily the same problem and almost certainly not the same computer. Someone may come along and remove your posts from this thread so you might do that quickly.

Tell us exactly what you are doing, what function you are using and how you are doing it - fore video work, you could be using VideWave, MyDVD, or one of the assistants? If you are just copying, you could be using Disc Copier in the compliation mode. Post all of the above in your new thread.

You might also install the latest nVidia drivers (Sept 2006). I know that yours are only a few months old so ---- Make sure you delete the old drivers in add/remove prorrams locate NVidia and remove it; reboot your computer and then install the new drivers.
