I got Creator NXT Pro this week, and I'm having the same issue. I tried to burn a simple dvd with 2 mpegs (no edits, no transitions, just a link of the file on blue background). If nobody can figure this out, it's refund time!

EDIT: I tried building a basic SD DVD using MyDvd on Creator NXT Pro. I added a working Mpg file by clicking the "Add New Movie","Default aspect ratio" It put it as a link on the default blue menu. I then pressed the burn button.

I've selected dvd, iso, and file folder and got the same result: it displays the first frame of the Mpg then the program locks up at 0% Overall Progress and "Encode Movies" on the "Burn Project" window

What issue is that?   Please explain what you mean by "just a link of the file on blue background"?

Any error messages?    What application in Creator NXT are you trying to use?   Did the suite seem to install correctly?

Tell us about your computer. Attach the text from this. (link)

This is a user site and threats for refunds do not really entice us to do anything other than to realize that any help we give you may be wasted. because you are returning the program.  Now, however if you are serious about really getting some free help ... continue.

Took the easy way huh ! :P   The dxdiag file would have been better.

Also there were 5 other questions that you didn't answer.   Are you going to?

How about a 6th?  Where id you get the mg2 files from?  And a 7th - any possibility that the files are DRM protected?

I edited my first post to answer your 5 questions...
6: The Mpg(2) files are converted from AVCHD Mts video files
7: They are in no way protected

My question: You really need all that info from the txt file?

It takes no time at all to get the txt information and if you attach the file, it doesn't take up much space on the forum.  I'm looking for driver details.  When was the last time you updated the drivers for that 5450 graphic processing unit (GPU) aka video card.

If it is a laptop, stick with Dell drivers; if it is a desktop, update the drivers from the Ati web site.

If it is the laptop, go to the top menu, select tools then options then select software.  If the ATI update does fix the issue, do this also.

I thought I had actually figured it out my issue... I switched to ADCHD, HD in the intial settings. It actually started working, but locked up at 77% this time...

That pretty much narrows it down to a bad video file.  Just because it plays, doesn't mean that it is not screwed up.  See if you can open each of the files in Video Wave and then select to output them to a mpg2 file.  That may cure the problem.  If the output hangs, look at the approximate time to see what is going on around then.   You may be able to find the problem. Without more information, it is impossible to tell what is wrong with the file.
