When i start EMC8, click Help and Register, the app crashes. I try to register online through the sonic site and it will not take my CD key which I get from the CD case and used to install the app.

What gives?

You need to contact Roxio, directly. This is a users site, and we are users like you and can't answer that question.

I am having the exact same problem that pjhoskins is describing. grandpabruce, I believe pjhoskins posted his problem for the same reason that we all do--namely, because he thought that maybe other users could, perchance, answer that question. To be sure, other people have experienced this issue. You never know when someone other than Roxio Customer Support (who, I must say, often don't seem to know much at all about the myriad problems their software creates for many users) might hit upon the cure....

I understand. Unfortunately, hit and runs like pj, don't come back and let folks know if they ever got Roxio to help them. It is frustrating for new posters, and it does irritate folks who help out, here.

The Roxio folks have seen this problem, and they are the only ones who can give a key that will work.
