Hi,

I just bought and installed EMC 8 today, but there seems to be a bug in the ripping component (Audio -> Convert CDs).

For some reason, only the first 2 tracks of each CD are ripped, even though all tracks were selected. This happens for any CD and on 2 different drives: a Sony CD-rom, and a TDK DVD Rom drive.

Has anyone encountered this problem as well?

I tried this with 2 different formats,mp3 and flac. Both times I was able to complete the entire process. You might try going to the control panel,add/remove and try a repair of the installation.

I tried all that: Uninstalled EMC 8. Re-installed from CD-ROM. Installed 8.0.5 pach. And still the behavior is the same.

Try downloading this small free program and see if it works. If it works with your drives you know where the problem lies. CDex - version 1.51, 1.9MB's

Hi, Thanks for the tip. I am pretty sure that the problem lies with EMC 8, because I am able to rip all the tracks using Roxio Easy CD & DVD creator 6 as well as Creative Playcenter 3
