I got the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro for Christmas and it always lags. I Have it hooked up correctly with HDMI Cables but in the window screen when I am recording it lags. For example when I move the stick on my Xbox controller to hover over something it takes about 2 seconds for it to do that on the capture screen. Help?

I that supposed to be English  Save that cr_p for your text messages, this is a real forum.

The OP did not even list his specs so your "conclusion" is a bit premature... Moreso since you don't even have this hardware/software ;)

You have gotten the only answer you are going to get... -_-

Yes there is Lag in the software Preview screen and it cannot be avoided!

You have to use another TV/Monitor to Play On!

NOW you can feed it back into your Computer PC using one of the Pass Through outputs on the GameCAP, AND setting your PC Monitor to that input ;)

Capture can be initiated by using the Hot Keys to start/stop whereas Streaming would need to to initiate it Before switching to the other input.

Hello Miscellaneous Miscreant,

Thank you for your tip about preventing lag when recording with the game capture device.

I'm afraid your video isn't suitable for the Roxio Community bulletin board because of the unnecessary obscenities, given that our audience includes families and kids of tender age.

I know it's a big ask, since you're obviously so busy, but could you possibly make a video without the swearing and post it here so that folks can have the benefit of your tip?  That would be awesome.

Thank you so much,
Brendon
