I am having the same problem only mine stops at 40%. It is starting to get very annoying. The whole program is of a dinosaur as it took me days to create my movie now I can't burn it. I have tried all suggestion but nothing works and getting any real help from Roxan online support is hopeless. Then they ask you for feedback and it takes you back to Roxan. How ridiculess!!! Has anyone got any idea!!

The other thing you might try is to save your original project to a different format -- AVI instead of MPG, for example.
Having said all that, I never did get good burns and ended up taking my Viewwave export to another program for final DVD encoding.

Do you have another DVD program available to try? (My burner, for example, came bundled with the Nero suite.) If your files are currently in mpg format, there's a good chance they'll work in other programs. (If they do, you'll know the problem's with Roxio. If they don't, the problem's probably the files.)
I know--you bought this suite and you want to use it. So did I, but I eventually went back to the earlier Sonic MyDVD to finish my project.
It seems as though this software works great for some people and not at all for others.

I hope you got your problem solved... I had the same problem up until last night and it was such a minor little thing but I finally have successful encoding sessions!
For me... I tried everything I could think of and the last thing was a last hope before scrapping this program... I changed my resolution in my display properties. I had 1152 x 864 (32 bit) and changed it to 1024 x 768 (32 bit)
Looks like my video card just couldn't handle the higher resolution... guess my card isn't as good as I thought it was .
Anyways... I really hope this is all you needed to get things working too... Good luck!

Thanks Tan. I tried that myself as I had 1152 x 864. I pushed it down to 1024 x 768 and 'bingo'. It all came together.
Also, I've been having some problems with my Terratec TV tuner card (picture freezing & dropping out). This seems to have improved and, quite possibly, cured. Early days but it looks promising. Thanks again Tan. I'm grateful

49% After banging my head against the wall for hours trying
various things to no avail, I finally got it to work for me. Here is
what I did.
First, my project consists of about 12 mini-projects, for each mini-project
I was using WV to output a dvd compliant mpg file. Then my main
projecct in myDVD basically was putting together these dozen mpg
files. What I found out was that my encoding was stopping at 49%
through the project which was 57% through the first title. The first
title consisted of 7 of the 12 mpgs. I calculated 57% to figure out
which mpg file of my project was giving it grief. When I found it,
I realized what might have been happening. I had been making
major changes to the underlying .mpg mini-project files, but myDVD
was not refreshing it, so MyDVD was out of sync in terms of what
it thought was how big those underlying mpg files where, it was
using the original values for things such as how long each was.
So I simply did a 'replace panel' on the mpg files I had been
changing, and then I noticed the MyDVD finally had updated the
length of the dvd etc. After than the project would render.
I guess I wrongly assumed that if I opened a project in myDVD
that was made up of .mpg files, that it would re-read them to
see if they had changed since the original time I added them to
the project, but I guess it caches some of the attributes and
probably when it goes to render it, gets confused and hangs.
I got to say, I waste so much time with his product, it seems like
it is so buggy, but that out of a stroke of luck if you search hard
enough in the forums or play around with it long enough you can
find a work-around. The worst one lately for me has been the
blue screen of death and reboot when adding the 3rd movie to
myDVD. Anyways, getting off subject by bashing the poor quality
of this product. The summary is if your project consists of using
other video files versus embedded video projects you might want
to try a simple 'replace panel' on the movie(s) to get it to refresh
to the latest version you have of those movie(s).
