USB Audio Device
Realtek AC'97 Audio
Universal Serial Bus controllers
USB Composite Device
Standard Universal PCI to USB Host Controller
Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller

I don't know how to update these without spending $30 to subscribe to Driver Agent.
What more do I need to import video from my Handycam? Do I need to get a device like Dazzle?
Forgive my ignorance and I would appreciate it if anyone can point me in the right direction.

HP is very good at providing all the drivers you need.Just downlload from this site. You provide a lot of information on your computer but nothing on your camera and hoaw you are trying to capture the video. In most cases, you will have to capture using the IEEE (firewire) port if your camera has oneusing Media Import.. Please post your camera information.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Thank you for your response. I'm not sure how much information you need regarding the camera. It is a Sony Handycam. It has the following jacks: LANC, A/V, USB, and i.LINK. I tried to use the USB connection to no avail. I really don't have a clue what I'm doing.

Need the model number. If it has iLink, that is firewire. Most camcorders come with a USB cable to transfer still images or to connect the camcroder as a 'webcam'. You computer does have firewire so you need to purchase a 4 pin to 6 pin firewire cable to transfer video. Don't buy a real cheap one as I've seen bad cables cause problems. Walmart sells a good Belkin cable or you can get one from Sony.
