doing new project in videowave, the files I import are quicktime, but when I play them in videowave the audio is replaced by heavy hiss. Help!

Update to the latest version of QuickTime. This helps, some folks.

If that mov file is from a digital camera, it still may not work because of the non-standard mono format. I could not find a solution in this software.
