Well, I was moving right along when I clicked in a Crawl Title, somehow I missed where on the Enter Text and have a default message which I can't seem to remove...

So I spent an hour on dialup downloading the pdf manual only to find it doesn't seem to have any info about titling in it. :)

I searched here and didn't find anything; imho it should have its own heading, or is it something so dumb that I will be really embarassed to find out the HowTo?

I'd also like to find out how to do an insert without disrupting the existig audio track...

are there tutorials on this stuff here? not finding them with Search.

Are you working in VideoWave? Sometimes the craw type titles begin off screen so you have to run the preview for a second or two before you can see it. Once you do, you should be able to edit it. The titles are normally applied to an internal track for a image or color panel. So you may have to open the internal tracks to see and edit the default message. Just click on the icon to the far left above the storyline view.

The text audio and several other tracks are separate so editing one or the other should not be a problem. I like to add images, color panel, text and transitions in storyline and then add the music in timeline. Be careful with the internal verses the external tracks. The internal tracks look yellow. Remember that anything added to an internal track for a color panel or image will apply for the time that it is displayed; those things added to the external tracks will last for the time that the text, or other is timed for.
