Which AAC audio codec? QuickTime or ???

Does anyone know which AAC audio codec does MyTV ToGo use for generating iPod and PSP audio?

MyTV ToGo version 3.1 and earlier use ffmpeg for AAC. Later versions will use Sonic encoders
