Hi,

Just purchased version 9.0

When I try to open Laser Label Disc, get the following error:

Application Error. Exception EAccess violation in module dwwin.dll at 000EB192. Access violation at address

0061B192 in module dwwin.dll. Read of address 0000003C.

The program then crashes and asks for a report.

I have tried this several times but still the same problem.

I installed version 9.0 over 8.0. It asked me to uninstall various modules before the installation of 9.0 took place. I agreed to each uninstall and the program installed correctly.

I just uninstalled 8.0, so I just have 9.0. However same problem still with Laser Label Disc still crashing.

Any suggestions on how to fix?

Do you have either Desktop Weather from the Weather Channel or Logitech's SetPoint software installed?

If so, try closing them from the system tray and relaunching Express Labeler.

And please let us know either way.

I do have Logitech's Set Point Software Installed.

I closed it and Express Labeler Worked.

However, one other question.

When I launched Express Labeler, I see that you are using Surething Labeler.

It asks if you want to upgrade to Deluxe.

I already have Deluxe installed on my computer.

How do I integrate this with the Roxio software. In other words, if I already have this installed, shouldn't the program recognize this?

What version of Deluxe do you have? If it's v3, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the Deluxe version.

As a heads up, we'll be fixing the Logitech SetPoint issue in a future release.

Just to add my 2 cents to this thread...I too experienced the problem of Laser Label Disc crashing whenever I tried to load it...I'm running Logitech's Setpoint program...Once, I disabled Setpoint, Laser Label Disc now runs with no problems.

Another little problem that I am having that I have not been able to resolve yet involves Photosuite and Videowave. Both programs load okay, but for some reason the drop down menus at the top of the screen are all blank. As you might imagine, this can be somewhat of a problem when trying to "navigate" in the program...Any advise, would be greatly appreciated on this one...I scanned the other threads, and so far it appears no one else has experienced this irregularity...I must be special!?...

Okay, boys and girls! I'm happy to report, I solved my own problem...It seems Photosuite and Videowave do not play along well with Stardock's Windowblinds program...I unloaded Windowblinds, and presto, I can see drop down menus again...Roxio Technical Service, if you are monitoring this thread, please keep these two problems in mind when you go to work on the first patch for EMC 9. The compatiablity issues with Stardock's Windowblinds and Logitech's Setpoint program...Big Thanks!
