When using Creator 8 delux suit, under Home, Audio, Convert LPs & Tapes and you select Capture from: DAZZLE DVC90 Audio Device under Input: there are no options to select. I would think you should be able to see the composite input from AV to USB2 prodcut(DAZZLE DVC90 Audio Device).
no input selection under DAZZLE DVC90 for capturing audio

I can't use my DVC 90 to just capture audio (although it should) but it works well with the audio from a VCR tape. Are you trying to use it for convenience? Why don't you just go directly into the line in jack on your sound card. If you have a laptop, you can go into the mic jack but start with the volume on your player turned down and then bring it up to where you need it. You may have to do some audio normalization to get the levels correct after you capture. BTW, some people with certain USB type jacks can't use the device at all. Pinnacle has some information on their web site.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

This is a question I've had also.It will do the same thing if you try Media Import from the start menu. You see the Dazzle device but get nothing under the input. If you use it to capture video then the input shows as microphone. Why it doesn't come up under audio capture I have no clue.Doing what sknis suggests is probably your only option for now.
