Sorry but I am a newbie. I installed EMC8 but my preinstalled Corel software wants to run and continues to ask if I want to purchase it. Can I remove the preinstalled Corel?

That depends if you want to use Corel or not. Did the install of EMC cause this to happen or has this been happening previous to the install? Was Corel a trial version and the trial ran out? Not sure what your needs are but I don't know what's included with Corel that you may or may not need in the future. Of course, you can uninstall and resintall later if you have the original program disc.

Thanks Beerman, it was a trail version but still functions for some reason. Has these anoying screens that keep appearing asking me to purchase. EMC seems to do all I need to do so I could easly do without the Corel picture program and the preinstalled Sonic stuff too.

Cliff, if you have preinstalled Sonic programs on your system, you definitely want to remove Sonic DLA if it's installed. It won't work with EMC's Drag to Disc and will cause problems if both are installed.
