I am trying to install EMC 8 on my laptop.

1. I am using Windows XP w/ service pack 2
2. I disable my Norton's Antivirus Software.
3. I throw in EMC 8 software.
4. I software runs smooth until I receive the blue screen of death.  My laptop automatically restarts itself with the following error:

C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERe3f8.dir00\Mini090106-01.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERe3f8.dir00\sysdata.xml

Error codes:

BCCode : 19     BCP1 : 00000020     BCP2 : E27C6000     BCP3 : E27C6EF8
BCP4 : FFDFFFDF     OSVer : 5_1_2600     SP : 2_0     Product : 256_1

Ideas anyone?

Thanks!!!

As Patty asks, specs will help.  It's very likely that there is already software on your laptop that is conflicting with EMC, mainly EMC's Drag to Disc program.  If D2D is installed with Sonic DLA or Nero InCD or some other packet writing program, you'll need to either remove it first, or uninstall Drag to Disc.
BSOD upon boot up is a classic sign of this conflict.
