Those intrusive labels on picture files

I specifically did not check the box for photosuite when installing EMC 8, but it loaded anyway and now all my picture files have a colored roxio label - jpeg, gif etc. How can I get rid of them? The labels, I mean!

Open PSP. Go to Tools – Options – Associations tab. Clear the checkmarks…

FYI: These are not called 'labels' but are icons assigned to files of a specific extension. The presence of an application specific icon to a file name, indicates that a specific application is associated with that file extension. I find it of absolutely no use to me whatsoever, but that is the way it goes…
