THE VIDEO CAPTURE COMPONENT IS NOT LOADING. WHEN I SELECT 'CAPTURE' FROM THE 'WELCOME' SCREEN, THE 'CAPTURE SCREEN' APPEARS FOR A FEW SECONDS THEN CLOSES AND RETURN TO THE WELCOME SCREEN. I HAVE UNINSTALLED AND REINSTALLED MANY TIMES.

NEED HELP FAST TO CAPTURE VIDEO OF A BABY SHOWER.

First, unless you have a vision problem, do not post in all caps; it is considered as yelling.

What product and version are you using?

Your post doesn't seem to make sense, where do you see "Capture" on the Welcome Screen other than audio capture?    Are you doing an Import?   What are you trying to capture from; what kind of capture device?  USB/Firewire/Internal A/D card?  What are your computer specs?  Your question is too open ended for any reasonable response.  You'll get guesses that may just frustrate you. :)
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
