If I update to EMC by roxio download it will cost me £51.74.

Amazon have the full version listed for £53.99 released 15 Seotember.

I would love to upgrade straight away but with a saving of only £2. I would be better of buying the full version again.

Why does Roxio have such a poor upgrade policy.

Why does Amazon have such a good discount policy ?  Most people will buy more than one item and Amazon will make a little on each additional item purchased.
I think Roxio still has the policy of a 30 day guarantee on software purchased from them.  Does Amazon?  I'm asking but I doubt it.

Retailers often will take a loss on a flagship product hoping that you will buy some additional products and end up making them more money anyway.  I honestly dont know how much Amazon pays for each copy but in reality, they could give it away if they wanted to.
