How can I get help for this problem? I tried Roxanne in vain. Due to a system crash I had to reinstall Windows XP. Creator 8 Suite, which I just purchased in July, 2006, is lost. How can I replace it? If necessary I will pay $16 for a CD but I believe the installation was via download. If it helps or matters I paid by mailing a check to BRT/EIN/036290 in Jericho, NY.

At one point Support Help states that redownloads are available under these circumstances, but when I try to follow through, I get shut down.

I have been a loyal customer, and my Registration information shows the following products:
Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum
Easy CD & DVD Creator 6, Platinum
Easy Media Creator 7
Easy Media Creator 8 Suite

Is Roxio's only answer to this problem to go and buy another installation/CD at a 10% discount? That would be outrageous if in fact it is Roxio's policy.
Please, do not tell me to go back to Roxanne.

You need to contact Roxio Customer Support. This is a users forum, and we can't help you with that problem.

er ... Terry ... this is a public Forum, searched by google and other search engines, which in turn are searched by spammers seeking to "harvest" email addresses for spamming purposes ...

Hope the sales dept has a good spam filter :)

(I'm mentioning it mostly as a warning to newbies who might read it, actually)

Very good point!
Not only should downloads be burned to at least one high quality disc, but I too duplicate most every purchased software CD that I have. The originals are kept in a (hopefully) safe place. Nothing's more irritating than having to prove to someone that you actually bought some bit of software when all you want to do is install it and get on with life.

That doesn't change the fact that your fellow users here cannot help you. You need to contact Roxio/Sonic, as Bruce mentioned.
You can find contact information on this page.
Or start right here on the Online Store Help page (which is accessible from a link on the Contacts page)

Larry:
Will do as you suggest.
Suspect it won't be easy since I paid by check and online systems want me to enter the credit card number I used.
Am now in their hands.
Thanks.
