I go to create a CD label with Label Creator 8 and even though my Epson R340 printer is identified. I am unable to Print a test page or the project at all. Print buttons are not clickible. Whats up with this?!. Roxio was updated a day ago to versio 8.05.

Quote "I recently installed EMC8. I created a disc label and tried to calibrate my HP Photosmart 7550 before printing. I received this error message: "An unknown error accurred while accessing an unnamed file." Man, how ambiguious is that? OK. I tried to go ahead and print the label. I got the same error message. My printer works perfectly with all other programs and has the latest drivers. After perusing the forum I couldn't find anyone else with this problem. Maybe someone has experienced it and found a fix.

Thanks.

I also get this when I go to calibrate or print. Also I had to unclick then click the little thumbnail on the bottom left to activate the print and calibrate buttons. But now I get the "unknown" error message when I go to calibrate or print a document in Label Creator. This bug needs to be addressed!.

Although you have selected your printer, the image you posted shows that it is not ready.  Unplug it and restart, try a different USB port, all the tings you would normally try when a USB device doesn't work.  Is this a new printer and have you checked to make sure all the drivers are installed properly (I know sounds too elementary but when every I called my IT professional with a problem, their first response was reboot. :) )

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Laptop - Windows 7 Home
Dell XPS 1645, Intel I7 1,6G with overdrive ,4G RAM, 1 GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730, Sound Blaster X-Fi MB Panzer, 500G hard drive.

I tried that. With all my other apps, printing is fine. I finally got it to do a calibration, by selecting standard paper, insted of commercial. But when I was prompted to go ahead and print my label. It still didn't work!. Have to use Corel Photo Album to print a CD label.

Well I finally got it to work. I re-installed the entire application.
