While going through and adding my movies in mydvd 8, I figured out I needed to access the settings menu to change the length of the animation for the thumbnail.  Anyways I go up and try to click it, and sure enough it is greyed out.  What do I need to do in order to access it?

All depends on which product you have. Do you have:
MyDVD 8 Essentials?
MyDVD 8 Premiere?
Easy Media Creator 8 Suite?
Easy Media Creator 8  Deluxe Suite?

Try to click on the thumbnail and hit ctrl-r.  On some versions this will work.

As I recall, that menu option is only available in the EMC 8 Deluxe Suite. You'll probably have to upgrade to either EMC 8 Deluxe or EMC 9 if you want to enable that functionality.

I have discovered this is an issue for me, as well.  Wish I'd realized there was more than 1 version when I purchased this.  Love how they have a ton of things in there....that are greyed out just for frustration's sake.

How is it that you were even able to get your thumbnails to animate?  Mine have become inanimate and I want to re-animate them and cannot find the place to do this.

Thank you!

 My settings are grayed out too. I also have EMC8 suite. Any luck on getting yours to work?
