Error Message video ts file cannot be compressed

i am getting the message saying video ts file cannot be compressed. why is that? i have tried just one of the vob files and get the same message. as one vob is just one gig there would be no need for compression, right?[size=3]

Had the same problem. Just posted a reply to myself. Goes like this:

Solved this issue. Used Mac The Ripper with 'main feature only' as ripping option. Toast rejected the resulting VIDEO_TS folder. Ripped the movie again using 'full disk extraction' and this time Toast liked it. Then set recording option in Toast to 'main feature only'.

Had this problem before and forgot how I solved it.
