When I click on Creator Classic I get : Dragon Engine Initialization failure
When I click on other components, I get AVI not found

It use to work fine for about 3 weeks

I have EMC Basic 7 DVD running on Windows XP

Roxio support will not help since it is a basic program.

I remember having this problem when I was using v7. Install Napster again and it'll fix your problem. If you don't want Napster, you can remove it later with no effects on using EMC.

First I'll guess you meant API not AVI not found?
Try re-registering the Dragon Engine as outlined in this KB article and see if that helps.

Wished I had seen that KB when I had trouble back then. It took me almost a week to figure out what to do and then I happened to find someone with a similar problem and he said to reinstall Napster and it worked.
I like your info better Larry.

If it works :) (hope it does). I'm also not sure if the Napster part would have come with the Basic version they have, so hopefully the registration part works.
