I separated audio ( narrative) from video. I edited the clip for the audio I need. Not to concerned about the video part. When I extract the audio edited and open the saved file the original audio was saved without edits.
How do I save or render the audio so it extracts and saves correctly?

What program(s) are you using to do this?

Take us through your process, step-by-step please. Then we can work out what you're doing and give you advice.
