The more info the better.
Also more details on your system specs would be useful, especially video card(s), driver versions, directx, etc.

Sorry for the sketchy report. I started by using MyDVD on a project with both video and pictures. I wasn't using any wizard. I just tried bringing up my project again and insert a Disolve Transition between two pictures in the project, and it crashed.

CPU, Amount of Memory, Manufacturer and model # of videocard, and the driver date.
All of this information can be found using the DXDIAG tool. To launch the tool, click on Start, then Run. In the text box, type DXDIAG and then click OK. CPU and Memory is found on the first screen, video card and driver date is found on the Display tab.

No, that was a seperate issue. I'm still having the same problem. I cannot add dissolve transitions between the photos I have in the project. That may not be the limiting factor, but it always causes the system program to crash.

Go and reset your nVidia card to performance or high performance. It is probably set to high quality. Now go into VideoWave and go to the top menu Tools> options> and run the video test. Watch it closely and post the average numbers from the two different tests it runs. A ballpark number is OK for the number. Does the rendering dot default to software or hardware (where is it after the test.) Mine runs at about 500 for the first number and just under 200 for the second number. I'll assume you have the latest version of DirectX 9c and that you have updated the drivers for that video card somewhere along the line. Remember that you have to remove the old drivers using add remove programs before you update to the newest drivers.
Just to make sure, again from the earlier posts, how many transitions do you see? There is only one transition named "dissolve". Is that the one you are having trouble with? What is the image duration on either side of the dissolve and what transition duration have you set?
