My main computer is not connected to the Internet, and I want to upgrade from EMC8 to EMC9. Can I activate over the telephone, or via a 2nd connected computer? Also, can I install EMC9 on two workstations?

If you are not connected, when something is used that requires activation you will be prompted with a generated code to activate manually online and it should give you the address of a page to do so. Post back here if you are unable to use any features that you think should be available and you think it relates to activation.

Will this work with the mpeg activation also?If so that could solve some of the problems with the IE7 issue.

I believe there is a manual activation for mpeg2 activation that someone can go through with support on the phone... don't quote me tho
