I figured I could get around this myterious problem by creating the ISO image file and use another burner. I did, and i used RecordNow! It went well, but the resulting DVD does not have any menus (the project, of course, did). I am puzzled.

Suddenly, burning from MyDVD 8 Essentials stopped working. It does all the work, but when it comes to actually burning the DVD it crashes.

Any idea what caused this? Any idea why the burning from inside MyDVD may have stopped working?

What was added/deleted from your computer? Updates? Upgrades? Have you scanned your computer for Viruses and Malware? How much unfragmented free space do you have on your hard drive.
Please post your computer specs in your signature by going to My Controls at the top and then look to the lower left of the window that opens to edit your signature. If you don't know your computer specs, download and run Belarc Adviser.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
