I am a beginner with the Roxio program and have figured out a lot, but am still having problems adding background music to slideshows.  Please help... am going crazy with this program.  Have never heard of a company not offering tech help.

Please post details of what you are trying to do and the steps you have taken. Are you doing the slideshow through the Videowave application?

You problem has absolutely nothing to do with Roxio.  Your problem has everything to do with DRM from whence you downloaded your music.

If it from an on-line service, there are DRM issues. Try burning it to a disc and then capturing it back to your computer. If they are not from an on-line store, load them into Sound Editor and then export them to wav files. Sometimes this fixes them.
