Can't Read Back-Up Disk On Different Version/computer

We need help!


We created back-up discs on our old laptop (HP DV1200). The discs worked fine on the HP. However, the HP is now dead, and we can't access the back-up files on our new(er) laptop, which is a Dell. The version of Roxio on the new laptop is Creator DE.


Any ideas on how to recover the back-up files would be greatly appreciated!

We might be able to help you, but need some more information.


What software [name and version] did you use to make your backup discs?

What method did you use? [Did it involve formatting the discs first?]


What is the version number of your Creator DE? [look in Help > About this software]

What Operating System is running on your new laptop?
