After looking at files moved to CD, I discovered that RecordNow Data does not preserve user information added in File Summary. Unfortunately, I had good project information stored there.  

Does either backup program or Creator Classic preserve this data? Non-backup is preferred. (This post passes on this little feature, and I'm just too lazy to test today.)
Is there a site/document that describes what data is not preserved by the various programs when files are moved/copied from discs? If not, can one be created?
