Update 8.0.5 any good for EMC 8 Suite?

I got the EMC 8 Suite from the Roxio web site a few months ago. It came on a CD. via the U.S. mail along with a content CD. I installed the software from the CD and things work o.k. with a few glitches (as mentioned in a post below, I too had that anoying question about registering my software every time I started up the program) Now I see that there is an update called 8.0.5, but it says it's not for the EMC downloaded version. When I check my "about software," my software doesn't have any of the build numbers cited in the download page, all it has is Build 3.0.96B and then a bunch of other build numbers for the various components, but none of them start with 8. Will the version 8.0.5 be of any help to me?

Open up Creator Classic, click on Help, then click on About. Post that build number here.

I couldn't find Creator Classic on my menus, but I opened up my Video Wave 8 application and it says Build 805B56B. Opened up DVD Builder and it showed the same build.

If you have that build then you have the latest one. There is no update for the 805 build. The update was for the original CD's shipped to get them from the 800 build to the 805 build.
