I installed the Roxio 9 and every time I try to launch any of the program I get an error saying "Roxio Creator has encountered a problem and needs to close." Then I can choose to send the reort to Microsoft or don't send it. I am running the current verion of direct x and the newest version of Internet Explorer, 7, not the beta verion, the full verion. I would love any help you can give.

IE7 RC1 is, technically, still a beta. It is not complete. But beta or not is beside the point. Your problem is due to have ANY version of IE7 on your system. Remove it and your problems will be gone. I know, it happened to me.

Looks like only IE7 Release Candidate 1 is available at the MS site. Perhaps you mistook it for the RTM (Release To Manufacture) version which doesn't exist yet.
I beta-tested WinXP Service Pack 2 when it was RC1. Believe me, it wasn't ready for prime-time then so I doubt if IE7 RC1 is ready now.
Remove IE7 RC1 and save yourself some headaches. The final version will be out in some months then you can test it out and see how it behaves with Roxio.
