When I run the sample of my reunion slideshow within VideoWave, it displays fine. After I compile the slideshow to VCD format onto a CD-R disk, then run it either on a computer OR a DVD player hooked up to a TV - some of my slides (most obviously the ones that have text in them) have blinking/flashing portions of the page. Right now I'm trying to save in SUPER VCD format to see if that makes a differrence, but any other ideas? The reunion is day after tomorrow! Thanks.

That was it. I fixed the flashing and blinking by rendering in Super VCD format and problems are gone. Plus the quality of my slideshow is much better too. Now hopefully it will run on the DVD player we're using. Will have to test it out.
