If I load cds into either drive they do not open and clicking on drive icon causes the system to freeze.  I then have to manually shut the computer down.  When I reboot the cd will appear as an icon and I can open it.  emc 6 did not do this.  Running xp pro.  Is there a fix?  :)

Not enough information including what version of V8 or other product you have. Computer specs, XP Service Pack?. Are you having this problem from within your Roxio program or just from Windows?

Did you try this message pinned at the top of the install board? Or this one at the top of the V8 general board?
